TOPIC: What has the power of music done to change/influence your life? (Topic to be discussed)
Submission details: The essay should be submitted by mail, or by using the online form ONLY. (Each Contestant MUST provide contact information).
Deadline: The submission deadline is December 31st.
Length: All Essays should be no less than 1000 words. This is a minimum word count; however, your essay should be no more than 1500 words.
Eligibility: This contest is open to Senior students going to college in the (2021 Fall)? Academic year. All contestants must be located in Georgia.
Language: All essays should be written in English and should represent the contestant’s ORIGINAL work. (If the author chooses to use a language other than English, the essay must be translated prior to submission.)
Winners: A panel of reviews from the offices of DT Studio, Diversified Technologies, LLC, as well as Atlanta based high school educators will judge entries and will award the prizes of first, second and third place. The winners will be chosen on January 20th, 2021.

Prizes: A total of three contestants will be chosen to win college book Scholarship.
1st Place: $1500.00
2nd Place: $1000.00
3rd Place: $500.00
Evaluation Criteria: Each Submission will be read by at least 3 reviewers. All essays will be evaluated using the following criteria:
• Relevance of prompt—The essay effectively takes into account, the entire prompt. If the essay does not make an attempt to address the Contest’s prompt, it will no longer be considered for review.
• Focus—The main message is clear and supported throughout and does not stray away from the main message.
• Organization and structure—The essay is organized and well-structured. The author practices correct grammar, spelling, and mechanics.
• Voice/ Originality—The essay uses a highly engaging and personal style. The author makes the essay something of their own and conveys original ideas. The author also approaches the topic from a unique perspective.
